RUSA Ph.D Fellowship

 To provide financial support to meritorious Ph.D. Research Scholars, Rs. 620 lakhs is allocated. In first phase, 185 Ph.D scholars, selected through Research Committee, are being disbursed fellowship @ 25,000 for NET / SLET qualified candidates and INR 20,000 for non NET/SLET with effect from 17th September 2018 during the RUSA phase 2.0 period. This will be continued for two years. Special drive of Pre-PhD entrance examination was conducted to attract more Ph.D. scholars. The result of eligibility for Ph.D. registration was declared and 15 more fellowships were disbursed to the meritorious entrance qualifiers.

RUSA PDF / SPDF Fellowship

  Wide advertisement at National level has been given for the recruitment of SPDF and PDF.

  Out of total applications of 447 received, 379 attended in person and 68 through Video Conferencing.

  Eight Senior Post Doctoral Fellows have been selected by the Screening committee (by the External subject Experts) with the monthly fellowship of Rs.1,00,000/- and the contingency of Rs.1,50,000/- per year.

  These selected fellows have already did their research works in USA, South Korea, Germany and Brazil. Now, they started working on the Theme Based Research projects.

  Besides, 35 Post-Doctoral Fellows have been selected by the University to work to enhance research eco-system with a fellowship at Rs 75,000/- per month plus contingency of Rs 1,00,000/- per year.

Support to Non-stipendiary scholars for Documentation

  18 non-stipendiary Ph.D. fellows have been given Rs. 20,000/- each for documentation of Ph.D. thesis.
